September's Featured Artist is...

BETSY THAYER!

Artist Statement: 

Betsy divides her time between her expansive 10 acre estate and living in the back seat of her Honda. Finding mediocre success has emboldened her to max out her credit cards on art supplies. 

Painting has always been a way to express her inner monologue and an attempt to save money on decorating. Betsy's hobbies include yelling at feral cats, spreading nonsensical conspiracy theories, procrastination and exhaustion. She dislikes naming art pieces, raisins and putting away laundry.

Her most notable achievements are remembering to bring her reusable grocery bags to the store, discovering the best way to leave a party early and most recently, finishing a tube of chapstick before losing it.
