August's featured artist is....sue farrell!

Artist Bio:

I've lived in Billings area the majority of my life. I started doing some tole painting on wood when I was in my 20's.  Then I started painting on ladies' hankies and material versus canvas. 

Because I enjoyed the process I could always find something to paint on like a shower curtain: a foot stool, a girls vanity, etc.  I started painting on canvas from photos 8 years ago when I was grieving the loss of a pet. 

I've dabbled with watercolors, although I prefer acrylics. I've not had any painting lessons- I simply love picking up a paint brush and creating.

I find a lot of joy being in the moment that it takes to paint.
